alicia & dave had a celtic wedding, it was such a unique wedding. jeff had such a wonderful time with
this couple.

no matter what kind of wedding you decide to have, the most important thing is to make it yours.
your day might be outside and it begins to rain (jeff performed a wedding during a rain storm
and he had water dripping from his nose into his Bible), but you can always make the best of it…
and believe me, it will be memorable and joyous…even if you have to walk in flip flops rather
than heels so your shoes don’t sink into the muddy ground. it has happened.

there are things that will go wrong… just don’t let it bother you.
during my wedding with jeff, we needed Communion elements and we forgot to purchase them.
jeff had to rummage through the church kitchen, finding a moldy hotdog bun and some old
grape juice. what a day! and as we were taking communion we were picking off tiny pieces of
blue & green mold. thankfully we didn’t get sick and here we are 17 years later doing just fine.

keep focused on your partner, and everything will turn out fine.

they’ve traveled all over the world together and finally it was time to walk down the isle. they’re from california but their family land is here in woodford county. if was a gorgeous place where relatives came from all over the world. i remember jeff pulling onto the property and thinking i could live here for the rest of my days. it was amazing. no wonder they wanted to say their vows in this breathtaking place.

you can just see from the picture how lovely the landscape. the details to the wedding were beautiful…one of my favorite touches–each gal was given a handmade scarf from one of their many travels overseas. i still wear mine all the time. it’s been a couple of years since this wedding and i think of erin and andrew all the time, wishing them well… wherever they are.

hi, i’m laurie. jeff’s wife. because jeff is a busy guy (performing weddings, a full-time Asbury student, Youth Pastor) he hasn’t had time to blog about each of the weddings he’s officiated. for months i’ve been telling him that i would help out but with the holidays i have had little time as well, but here we are in a new year and i’m ready to get started! over the next several months i’ll add them one-at-a-time and hopefully have a photo or two. so sit back and enjoy the weddings…
